The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and inherent Word of
God designed for our instruction in faith and conduct. The Bible is our
sole authority for guidance in living the Christian life.
(2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter 1: 20-21; Psalms 19:7; Matt. 5:18)
God The Father
We believe that God The Father so loved the world that He sent His
only begotten son Jesus Christ to die for our sins and that He has
spiritually adopted all those who have put faith and trust in Jesus
Christ.
(Eph. 1:3, 3:14-15; James 1:17; John 3:16, 6:44; Isaiah 53:4-5; Rom.
8:29, 9:11; Gal. 4:5,6)
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who came into
the world to redeem the world of our sins. We believe that He was
born of a virgin, lived a perfect sinless life, was crucified, rose
victoriously from the dead, defeating sin, death, hell and the grave.
We also believe that Jesus Christ is The Way, The Truth, and The
Life, and that no one can come to The Father except my accepting
Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
(John 1:1,14,18; Luke 1:30-35; Heb. 4:15; Phi. 2:5-11)
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit leads us to Jesus. We also believe
that the promise of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is for everyone, with
the initial evidence being “Speaking In Tongues” as experienced on
the Day of Pentecost, and referenced throughout The Book of Acts
and the Epistles. We further believe that the Holy Spirit imparts all of
the spiritual gifts to believers in order to edify us spiritually.
(Acts 2, Acts 19, Rom. 8:9-11; Rom. 12:6; 1 Cor. 12-14; Eph. 4:7-13)
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a free gift from God offered to anyone
and everyone regardless of gender, race or sexual orientation. It is an
act of the grace and faith and cannot be earned. We believe that no
one can enter into the kingdom of God unless they are born again
spiritually. This new birth of the believer comes only through faith in
the Lord Jesus Christ.
(John 3:3-18; 2 Cor. 5:21; Eph 2:8-9, I John 1:9)
Divine Healing
We believe that Divine Healing for the Body, Soul and Spirit has been
provided for us by the atoning death and victorious resurrection of our
Lord Jesus Christ. It is a privilege to all believers today, "for by His
stripes we were healed.”
(Isa. 53:4, Psa 103:3, James 5:14-15, Mark 16)
The Church
We believe that there is one church, made of all believers regardless
of gender, race or sexual orientation. This group of believers is the
living body of Christ called to bring the good news of Jesus to a lost
and dying world.
(1 Cor. 12:12-27; Acts 2:42-47)
Pastor Keith was raised in New
Orleans, LA . And accepted
Christ at the age of 14 after
reading a Christian tract. After
being born-again, he attended a
Southern Baptist church for
several years. After receiving
the Baptism of The Holy Spirit he
attended an Assemblies of God
church in New Orleans. He
graduated from Bible College in
1988 with a B.S. In Pastoral

several years.
Pastor Keith worked throughout

after returning to the states
Pastor began to deal with his
sexual orientation. He says “I
desired to be free from the
struggle of having same sex
attractions ever since I can
remember. The church told me I
had to change for God to accept
me, so I was constantly fasting,
praying and crying for God to
deliver me. I finally ended up in
a program called Exodus Int. in
Kansas City MO. , where I went
through an intense counseling
program designed to make me
straight. I completed the
program and even taught it to
several groups. It was during
this time that God began to do a
wonderful healing in my life and
to confirm to me that He had
indeed made me just the way I
was, a gay male.”
Once a quarter, Pastor Keith
conducts a teaching where he
examines all of The Scriptures
used to condemn the GLBT
community, and exegete what
the Scriptures really say.
Pastor Keith met his partner
Edward 10 years ago and
together with a group of close
friends formed T.G.P.A. Pastor
Keith has a strong desire to see
those who need to reconcile
their Christianity with their sexual
orientation. He also has a deep
passion for worship and the arts
and foreign missions.
Pastor holds a B.S. In Pastoral
Ministry and a Master's Degree
from The Assemblies of God
Theological Seminary.
WHAT DOES GOD'S WORD TELL US ABOUT WORSHIP?
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer
your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God for this is your
spiritual act of worship. (Romans 12:1-2)
From this scripture we see that worship involves our whole being.
The Bible teaches us to worship with our mouths:
• Praising - I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth; Yes, I will praise Him among the multitude. (Psalm 109:30)
• Singing - Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises. (Psalm 47:6)
• Shouting - Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart! (Psalm 32:11)
The Bible teaches us to worship with our hands:
• Lifting hands - Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord. (Psalm 134:2)
• Clapping hands - Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God. (Psalm 47:1)
• Playing Musical Instruments - Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, harp, lyre, flute, strings, and cymbals... (Psalm 150:3-5)
The Bible teaches us to worship with our bodies:
• Standing - Behold, bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord, who stand by night in the house of the Lord. (Psalm 134:1)
• Bowing / Kneeling Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. (Psalm 95:6)
• Dancing - Let them praise His name with dancing and make music to Him with tambourine and harp. (Psalm 149:3)
• Banners - May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory, flying banners to honor our God... (Psalm 20:5)
Other Biblical expressions of worship:
• Giving - Give to the Lord glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come into His courts. Oh worship the Lord... (Psalm 96:8-9)
• Gifts of the Spirit - When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these
must be done for the strengthening of the church....sing to the Lord, all the earth. (1 Corinthians 14:26)
• New Song (spontaneous songs of praise) - Sing to the Lord a new song, sing to the Lord all the earth. (Psalm 96:1)
For God did not send His Son into the world that He might judge the world but that the world might he saved through Him John 3:17 (NIV)
